Here we go for a Monday...

1. Homework check ... uh-huh.
2. Elbowing --

A man named Peter Elbow came up with a different way to peer edit. Instead of being ‘critical’ of your peer’s writing, this technique gives positive and usable feedback for writing. To do this correctly, you must follow the sentence starters EXACTLY!

Step 1. Open your speech so your editing partner can read it on your screen.

Step 2. Open the document below. You should now have two things open on your screen.

Step 3. Switch laptops with your editing partner. BE VERY CAREFUL!!!

Step 4. Fill in all of the required writing for your partner. SAVE this work on the desktop of their computer for them to review.

Step 5. Return partners' laptops and make any changes you feel are necessary (to your own work).
